Not sure how to start this one, so I'll try this approach. We can debate the selections as the thread unfolds.
Specials Teams: Must have #9 from Brookwood (Samuelson) as primary kick returner
Offense: QB - #5 Grayson (Cotter)
TB - #1 Grayson (Cotter) #5 & #21 Dacula (Holman)
FB - #49 Shiloh (Bryant)
C - #2 Grayson (Cotter)
TE - #23 Grayson (Cotter)
OL - #44, #54, #32 - All from Grayson
WR - #28 L'ville (Irons)
Defense: DT - #52 Dacula (Holman), #44 & #54 Grayson (Cotter)
DE - #77 Dacula (Holman), #32 & #24 Grayson (Cotter) <-- Added depth in choosing 3
LB - Dacula (Holman) All of them (Damn), #23 Grayson (Cotter), #5 Shiloh (Bryant), #45 L'ville (Irons)
CB - #5 Grayson (Cotter) & #28 L'ville (Irons)
S - Not sure if #5 Dacula (Holman) still RESTS back there or not. If so, take him; if not #4 Grayson (Cotter)
All right fellas - fill in the blanks. I can't see them all. But when you begin to edit the list above, you must back it up with fact or Stats!!

Okay, I don't know if you guys have seen this kid or not but #3 for Lilburn has a very strong and accurate arm and is a threat everytime he touches the rock. I will have to think of more. |

Wow! Out of approximately 650 kids in this age group. The All-GFL team is made up of 2 teams. Holman and Cotter. Don't be such a homer and not give props to the others who desrve it.
50-Grayson DE (Cole) - every team that plays them must account for him
Tinch-Shiloh RB (Bryant)- Best Back in the county. There you go I said it!
63-Loganvelle DL- Strong as heck and fast off ball
9-Dacula (Allen) QB/S- Does it all run, pass, leads team
13-Dacula (Allen) FB/WR runs downhill, catches anything close to him
8- Dacula (Allen) LB/TE has no peers
2-MCreek (Cassidy) LB underated just make plays
21-Dacula (Holman) RB underated because he on a loaded team. Would be a featured back on any other team
Cavdad, the Cotter crew talks more smack than anyone I have ever seen, to have never even played in the SHIP! But I love you guys!!
Good Luck to Everyone This weekend!

Let's see if I can remember the phrase, uhhmmm I think it goes something like this "Figures don't lie, but liars do figure"!
650 kids and I gave MY picks. If I had to select a squad based on what any scout looks for (production), then I would select the players I listed. Talk about homer - look at your selections - you didn't pick one kid from the 2 time defending champ's squad. His starting TB got an honorable mention.
Lots of good kids in this age group, but the topic was ALL GFL Team. Looking for the best at a position, not just a list of darn good players. That list would be around 60 or so out of 650.
As for talking smack - Grayson Cotter has dropped 1 game in 3 years regular season and 3 total if we include the playoffs. Two (2) of those losses came to the reigning Champ.
Raise your hand if you can say the same. I thought not. Looks like the football Gods were kind this year & won't allow the Championship Game to be held in the semi-finals for the 3rd straight year.
Not a kid mentioned below that I would not welcome to our squad - not a single one!!
So if I read correctly, #50 Grayson (Cole) makes ALL GFL Team over #32 Grayson (Cotter) or #77 Dacula (Holman)?
Ask Cole which of the 3 he would rather have. LOL!! I sit in the draft room with him. Still LMAO!!!
And this crew got blanked on Saturday 19-0 right? 9-Dacula (Allen) QB/S- Does it all run, pass, leads team
13-Dacula (Allen) FB/WR runs downhill, catches anything close to him
8- Dacula (Allen) LB/TE has no peers ... I'm sure there is a reason.
Like I said earlier in the post AND like the Subject line reads: ALL GFL Team, not just damn good players that would make any squad in the age group.
Now as for the figures. 650 kids, 31 Teams, 16 playoff teams, 16 seed = 4-4 record, lead me to believe that there are a ton of great players on bad teams because there are quite a few bad teams. But if the players are so good, then why are there so many bad teams?? Let's blame Coaching. When nothing else works - it's the great fall back.

This is for the 10U members of 2b. Let's start with some skill positions.
QB: 6 PR Parker. Has always been a stud in this age group. Can throw 35 on the fly (don't believe me, watch some film) and burn you on the option.
RB: 8 Dacula Skelley runs harder than anyone else in the age group. And when he gets into space there are few that can catch him. Oh, did I mention that if he's the lead blocker then a linebacker will end up picking himself up off the ground.
RB: 22 SG Falker plays on a 4-4 team but since he became the exclusive tailback in the I, he has shown what he can really do. He's a stump. The defense just can't bring him down. He breaks tackle after tackle and, even though he isn't a true burner, when he is in the open he has enough speed to finish a play.
WR: 1 PR Parker. He is used more as a tailback but given the limited passing in the 10Us this year, except for a couple teams (Loganville Parham, MC Kenerly), he is the best receiver I've seen. He's the most consistent pass catcher and if it's near him then he's got it. Not to mention he is a very big boy. |

Tackle,
I don't have a dog in this age group and agree with you on your picks, but lets not leave out the only kid that equals #8 for Dacula and that was his partner in crime the past 3 season's and is now at Mill Creek. # 2 Adair. Just my opinion, but he may be better than # 8. |

"D" ends- #77 Dacula, # 32 Grayson, # 50 Other Grayson team, # 13 other Dacula team
LB's- All Dacula(Holman's) team, #9 Shiloh, # 13 Dacula other team, # 8 other Dacula team, Sharpe Mill Creek
CB"s- #5 Dacula, # 2 Dacula, Irons Lawrenceville not sure of the number. # 1 Grasyon, # 5 Grayson

Gamebreaker,
I will agree that #2 is probably the fastest kid in the league and a great open field runner, however, and I think it has shown this year, he has to have the hole to get in to the open so he can use his speed. As good as he is, he doesn't make his holes the way 8 and 22 can. I did debate this one long and hard, 2 v 22, but after seeing him in person, I had to give the edge to 22. |

Fan,
Thanks for the props for # 5. He is special. The big thing is that he is only one piece of a large puzzle. He has partners is crime with #21, #9 and #2. This group compiment each other in every way. They make each other better. They take pressure off each other. They also feed off each other to match each others accomplisments. With that said , they are the first to tell you that they have some linemen that they would not want to go to battle without. Tinch #9 for Shiloh is a great back but not the best. To answer your statement about the first game this season between Shiloh and Dacula. No first down by #9. |

Wow...everybody is a homer on this...no respect given to P-View...that hurts fellas...okay, Ill bite...
QB-#3 from Lilburn...absolute killer on the field, throwing and certainly running...
RB...theres too many fellas, but #1 Grayson, #9 Shiloh, #5 Holman, and has everybody not seen my back #24?!? Be real...yall know him as #24 from Duluth the last two years...would say #9 from Brookwood, but the way #6 dismantiled him i don't know fellas....!!!!!
WR...who REALLY throws enough to know?!?!?!?
DL...kid from Dacula #15 Breda...scares me and I'm grown!!!, #68 Marshall Parkview...plays like a man...number 32 from Grayson(Cotter)...nothing needs to be said about him...
LB...hmmmm...that's tough...gotta put #6 Parkview up there...homer or not, the kid is a ball hawk, and will absolutely smack you...yep, he's mine(AND)...stats don't lie...Shannon from Loganville...good ball skills...the whole Dacula LB corp...or are they lineman who drop back...who freakin knows, they move so much...RIDICULOUS!!!!
CB...#1 and #5 Grayson, #21 Dacula #1 Lilburn, #23 Parkview...kid is a winner...would put him in the backs, but not enough speed...
S...#9 Brookwood...too fast, too good...
KR/PR....wouldn't know...not crazy enough to kick it to one of the lil' jokers, and coach never saw a 4th down he didn't like in order to punt!!!!!
Just my opinion, but hey, I haven't seen Demarcus in 2 years, nor Allen, or any DECENT Mill Creek team, so what can I say?!?!?!?!?
