If I may, my .02 on FBU, the FBU games & the Future Stars game...
FBU is a CAMP. A 2 1/2 day comprehensive camp. Invite only(but anybody can nominate anybody). This Camp is about Good reps and position specific knowledge. FBU also provides multible Seminars for Parants and Local Coaches all wknd. You pay a premium price for a premium product(from my experiance). If deemed worthy, you are then invited to Compete against your peers at a National camp(yes, still pricey). The price alone will keep the ave Joe away. From first hand experiance, my son received more reps and knowledge about his position then any of the other Camps we had been to. I believe I rec'd my $$$'s worth...
FBU- Game(s) at the end of the season seemed to be be more of an All Star bowl. And since our seasons had just ended, probably only local Coaching input was needed(and probably all that time would allow). By winning your game, you get invited to keep playing and maybe Compete on a National stage(at your expense too).
Future Stars GAME is a 1 time tryout to play in 1 game. Great Atmosphere and the chance to Compete against your peers. I enjoyed the Whoopla the week of the game. Having the boys room together for half the week before the game was a great experiance too. Glad we were able to participate in it. It really Highlighted my son's season. Worth every dime as well.
So before you compare them, just remember they are all fruits. Just different colors, shapes & flavors... |
