Has anyone noticed how bad some of the parks in Gwinnett have gotten in football? How does this happen?

Parks like Duluth, Collins Hill, Shiloh and Liburn are aboslutely horrible. They sometimes have good teams like Grimm in Duluth or Runion in Collins Hill but overall their programs are very week. Although it's a new park, Mountain View is a joke too. It seems that the rich teams just keep getting richer and the kids playing in the other parks suffer. What do you think?

4281 Wayside Court, Lilburn, GA 30047 is now the permanent location of Athletes Elite Performance as of May 12, 2012. This is the location we originally looked to lease months ago but it was not available. We were just informed that it was now available for a long term lease and feel this is the best facility to accommodate all of A.E.P clients. Our new location is still in Lilburn located less than a mile from Killian Hill Christian School. Starting Monday May 14, 2012 our training schedule will continue as normal. @mm27 - NOPE, not the case.....the only plays that coach ran was WIDE left & WIDE right too. Just overall bad coaching and "personal" feelings.....

And of DEFENSE.....boy oh boy - no one can outrun him......the safety than RUNS everyone down.....watch the last play of the video, just ONE shot of his defense.....

New Youth Fitness Camp Coming to Stone Mountain

Local Fitness Professional in Stone Mountain Launches First Youth Fitness Camp in (Gwinnett and Dekalb County area)

Stone Mountain – April 30, 2012 – Local youth fitness expert Shannon M. Hamilton Sr. recently announced the launch of Get in Shape Kids Camp, Stone Mountain’s first fitness camp specifically for kids.

Shannon M. Hamilton Sr. said "Childhood obesity has reached epidemic proportions with factors such as fast food, computers, TV, video games, etc. all contributing to the problem. Over 50% of our children are overweight and almost 30% are obese. We’re elated to begin offering the Get in Shape Kids Camp program to help combat this problem and to introduce kids ages 6-16 into a healthy fitness lifestyle in a safe, fun, non-intimidating format."

Hamilton says that providing youth fitness programming is a natural extension of their commitment to the community. "We have always been committed to offering quality programs and services to our community, so offering this much needed program was a no-brainer. It's sad to see how many unhealthy kids there are out there. The vast majority of kids today have sedentary lifestyles even if they are participating in sports activities. Our programs are designed with safety and fun in mind; if it's not fun, kids are not going to stick with it. The Get in Shape Kids Camp training system has been developed by the world’s leading youth fitness organization, the International Youth Conditioning Association, and will be delivered by certified fitness professionals who will help motivate and inspire the kids.”

The next Get in Shape Kids Camp will launch on April 30th at Global Athletic Complex,

That's funny how Norcross wouldn't let your boy run the ball. About 8(or so) yrs ago, they had a lil #7 and that's all he did too was run wide. He was the fastest thing I'd seen at that age back then. You would think they would've jumped on that.

Maybe they planned on Powering up the middle more and the Coach wasn't smart enough to put in some wide plays for your son.

Can he bring it on Defense too? That's a lot of Momentum comin' at you...

Thank you Norcross for never letting my son run the ball after three years in the Association... Glad we left and went to Fulton County. This video is a slap in the face to Coach King and all the so called Norcross 6, 7, & 8 year old coaches that told my 8 year old he would NEVER be a running back...WOW! Maybe we'll come back this year and play for Duluth, or Parkview...

Here is another Camp I'm involved with. This Camp is geared more towards the every day kid. The kid that isn't into the Grind that Competitive sports require. But maybe they miss the Daily exercise that School PE class used to bring. Maybe you feel they are just using their thumbs way to much and need some Athletic Stimulation. Or if your concerned about their Health.

Also consider Logistics. Who say's some of these kids weren't invited to play in the FBU games? Maybe they just opted not to because of Logistics(travel)/timing and or $$$.

And by having more then one choice(org/game), gives more kids a chance to show their stuff. Just like all the different Bowls now. Just more opportunitys...

As far as E.R. is concerned. He has his idea's and has the ability to see them through. So before you guys slam him to bad. Remember, He's not Pefect(are you?), he has brought the GFL along way. We can honstly say the GFL is one the biggest Org's in the Nation and doesn't make the News for negative stuff. Much like other smalller Org's around the Nation. With all the Drama we do have, share the list of things you'd do better. He has never done me wrong(or any of my teams), so I have nothing negative to say about him. I've been involved in the GFL for almost 15 yrs and have seen some shady stuff. Some guys can run a Team, some are good at running a park assoc, but it takes a different kind of person to take on an Org the size of ours and remain Positive. Remember, there is Cheer Drama too on his plate(how would you balance that and a Family?)...

Like I said, "Everything has it's place". Try and remain positive and optomistic. The kids that are really good will their fair shake when it's their time. Only a small few make it beyond HS anyway. The sport of Football is still the Best parallel to Life in my book.

Neither of these games will make or break any of these kids. It's the Parents that are getting their feelings hurt.
