Save some for me. I will be there by the start of the 3rd qtr.

I completely agree. This is the game of the week, but it is too close to call. Both teams have a ton of talent. I think it will come down to turnovers. I will have my popcorn ready.

'Ol Big Cat,
The last thing that I am worried about is you or your squad. I'm worried about dem folk hitting me up with a fine and/or suspension AGAIN if I ever meet the GC Blue Devils in a regular season again. Again, be thankful for the 32 pt mercy rule.
Don't worry ... lol ... I stay worried trying to figure out how to stop scoring on cats like.
You straight GC and I do mean GC!!!!!!!

Week 3 - 8TH GRADE PREDICTIONS
ARCHER vs SHILOH
Shiloh rolls….again.
BROOKWOOD vs PEACHTREE RIDGE
Will the Wood drop their 2nd game in a row or will they rebound and beat a good Ptree Ridge team? Not this week. Ptree Ridge in a close one.
BUFORD vs NORTH GWINNETT
North is coming off a big win over Brookwood last week and will carry that momentum in this week. It won’t be enough though as Buford keeps rolling. The Wolves by a TD
DACULA vs NORCROSS
Dacula is undefeated but Norcross has played a tougher schedule after 2 games. Norcross won a close one last week over Parkview. Dacula is good but I think Norcross is better. I give the Blue Devils the nod in a close one.
LAWRENCEVILLE vs DULUTH
Duluth is undefeated…..with close wins over Lanier and Lilburn. Not impressive at all. L’ville is talented and should win this one with ease. L’ville by at least 2 TD’s.
LILBURN vs LANIER (North Gwinnett)
Lilburn is not very good. They’ve yet to score in 2 games. Lanier is not that good either but they get a pass being a first year program. This one is tough to call but I’ll give Lanier the edge in a low scoring, close battle.
MILL CREEK vs COLLINS HILL
MC has had two close loses to two good teams...Dacula & Buford. CH was blown out by an average of 31.5 pts by the same two teams. MC breaks their losing streak this week and beats CH by at least 2 TD’s
SOUTH GWINNETT vs GRAYSON
South lost a close one to Ptree Ridge last week. They beat L’ville easily in week 1 and they’ll do the same to Grayson this week. South by 2 TD’s.
MOUNTAIN VIEW vs PARKVIEW
MV..like Duluth is undefeated. They have wins over Lanier and Archer. My feelings are also the same...Not impressive...however I will give them props as they are the best of the 1st year programs (Archer included even though this is their 2nd year of 8th grade) Parkview lost a close one last week against Norcross but they get back on the winning track this week. Parkview by 2 TD's.
GAME OF THE WEEK – Dacula vs Norcross
SCARE OF THE WEEK – Buford vs North Gwinnett
UPSET OF THE WEEK – Norcross over Dacula
BLOWOUT OF THE WEEK – Shiloh vs Archer

Congrats to the BLUE DEVILS and OBC on their win Saturday and keep on pulling against us the rest of the season. Your posts keep us fired up!!! Best of Luck to everyone next week and thanks for no.1 ranking some of you are giving us. It's a long season ahead and anyone can slip up seeing there are so many good teams this year. MT. VIEW is still top dog until someone takes them down in my opinion, so line up and play your best and everyone stay healthy. GO DEVIL'S!!!!!
|
|
BTW, dont worry about OBC, OBC's team, or what OBC decides to post here. Worry about yourself, chief. |

Sept 11th 11 Year old predictions
I can't believe I missed the Game of the Week. My bad! I do think Tucker wins this one and I'm really interested to see how this PR Clark team stacks up against some potentially championship talent.
Buford - Thanks T2T for the update. My "circle" had no idea. I do agree that 2 or 3 kids can't make a winning team at 11 year old football. But , coaching can. Add a couple of coaches that know what they're doing and that CAN make a difference. Going 0fer or 1fer the last few years and now they've won 2 games. They do have a pretty easy schedule this year except for Dacula Goodson and CH Anthony. Interested to see how CH Anthony stacks up. CH has been 5-3ish under Buko (until that brutal schedule last year) and the other CH team has always been pretty bad.
Dacula Gunter vs MC Wright ---- agreed---is a toss up. I've heard Dacula's D is tough and I agree that the Pview/MC offense that Ray runs is stoppable with a good D.
As the season unfolds and gets into the conferecne schedules, I think the cream will start rising to the top. |

WEEK 4 PICKS 10 YR OLDS
Cav,
My coaches and I watched the same game and agree Shiloh is still a top 5 team but early rankings always change as things work themselves out. Agree that Bryant will not loose another game during the regular season and as these other so called undefeated teams dwindle down then they will move back up. The final two week rankings is what matters.

WEEK 4 PICKS 10 YR OLDS
In the words and voice of Cotter "Are you $h...ing me"?
A week ago I read 1 vs 2 (which was a joke to begin with) and when 1 or 2 loses, they fall from YOUR Top 10.
If Shiloh-Bryant drops another game this season, it's because they Forfeit due to not showing up. Their QB is hands down the BEST QB in the age group. Watch the film and check him out while you counting plays. Their play side LB is sick and that weak side LB is the truth. The tailback (formerly of Brookwood ... sorry big guy, you will always be #9 from Brookwood to me) is finally showcasing his talents on a good squad. Too much talent ALL OVER the field with that team. Personally, it wouldn't bother me if I NEVER see that squad lined up against the former #1 from Grayson again. Did I mention the ILB or the playside corner? Hey #55 - ran away from you on purpose. And your coach knows why!! Cause coach knows when a kid brings the FUNK - and you bring it. But, so do many of your running mates.
Shiloh-Bryant out of any Top 5 list less more Top 10 makes your list a NOT TOP 10 LIST.
Seriously, "Are you $h...ing me"? Mind boggling that 2 people can watch the same game at the same time and see 2 totally different games. Shiloh-Bryant not Top 10 ... lmao ... this board isn't even a good read anymore. The recession has really done a number on the human brain.

[GAMEBREAKER 2010-09-07 08:22:42]:
#1 : Loganville: made a statement against Shiloh
#2: Lawrenceville: based on strength of schedule, they have to go to 2.
#3: Shiloh ( Tinch): still some say he is the team to beat.
#4: Dacula(Allen): this week gets a lillte tougher for them.
#5: Mt View: with this schedule we may never move up.
#6: Collins Hill( Runion)
#7: Parkview(Miller)
#8: Buford( North)
#9: Archer ( Fullard)
#10: Mill Creek( Governale)
Loganville has another solid team this week but wins it by 12.
Lawrenceville has no test for 2 more weeks. they win by 32 this week and next.
Shiloh is in same boat. next to weeks are wins by 32.
Dacula has rematch of jamboree. this could turn out to be a good game. maybe an upset. Dacula is favorite and I go with them by 7.
Mt View does not have a test till week 7. They should win by 21.
Collins Hill in the game of the week against Mcdaniel. Scotty is always my pick for coach of the year for his knowledge but I have to pick the hill in this one by 6.
Parkview in a blowout by 32. Miller will have to figure out ways not to score in this one.
Buford will go against a pretty good team in south gwinnett but they win it by 18.
Archer over NG by 21. watch out for this Archer team.
Mill Creek just broke into my rankings and may fall out this week as they play #1 Loganville.
As you see there are several new teams that have broken into the top 10. how long can they stay there?

What Loganville guys say that you root against them? 1) Get off your own sack - no one gives a ish if you show love 2) once again you say ish that is a straight up LIE. I doubt seriously if you know anyone from the Loganville squad outside of me and I'm not even from Loganville. Considered more of a hired mercenary than anything else, and 3) while you laying wagers and critiquing the other 36 squads in the age group, it might be wise to tighten up that GC squad. No mercy rule in the playoffs and the Red Dogs turn blind eye to the Round 1 thrashings.
The boys from CD say Holla at 'em. BTW, where is the fishing hat - guess you had to swap it out for the visor.
Finally figured out what OBC means ... 'Ol Big Cat ... Roo Cat!!
[OBC 2010-09-07 09:41:53]:
The Loganville guys say OBC roots against them and shows no love.....
Governale, by most accounts, is the 3rd best team at Mill Creek

You know you don't really believe that 007 you are right you guys do hold the belts right now i just hate when every one gets on hear and just talk about l-ville like we'er nobody we come and play football every year the last 2 yrs we had a great season so i do stand to correct my self about the last post.but i sure would like to see you and phillips meet again.in the ship.i do think with a new coach in charge of things it will be a much better football game.

I know you are a big Peachtree Ridge supporter Hollaman but I don't know if I would put Donaldson's team in the top 5. They are solid and even though the jamboree wasn't an official game, they did lose to William's Buford team 6-0. I think everyone may have overlooked Huff's North Gwinnett and King's Dacula's teams. I wouldn't put Lawrenceville in the top 5 and certainly not #1. How can anyone in their right mind rate another team higher than Grove's Dacula team? Lawrenceville has played two soft Duluth teams and you want to give them the belt? Let's be serious now. Look for them to come down to reality this week. King's Dacula team has played two tough opponents in David's Mill Creek and South Gwinnett and held both scoreless. We'll see where they stand after this week.
yes your right about 1 thing we played duluth 2 weeks in a row so you would think they would of been ready for us but the style of def we play we wiill be ready for any team.and yes grove do hold the belt right now and have for the past 2 yrs.but with a new coach taken over holter spot i would love to see grove and phillips meet again i truely think it will be a much better game this time around.oh yeh phillips did beat king and joliff last year in the ship in the ga bowl.mr wolves 715 and beat them when they were 7yrs old.all the teams you put befor us L-ville have beat.just make sure your there on/9/11/2010.so next time you can get your ranking right. |

You can't be serious.
You obviously were NOT at that game. Y'all showed EXACTLY what y'all had, which wasn't much. #15 left, #15 right, #15 on the pass...he IS your best player. hahahaha, Blayson at its best...
I guess 'easy' is one of those words that blayson uses to describe ANYTHING that they don't want to look foolish about. I understand..
Trust me on this one though, you'll see me at Bethesda week 6..I gua-rown-tee it i'll be the one smiling with your head coach after we blow that back out. Anybody got a cigarette? Make sure you don't miss me then lil' buddy..
Oh, that @$$ whooping you talking about? Still waiting to see it.
....Humorous.....

i think you been in that meth lab and still chillin in that weed factory it's week two we are not showin anybody what we have until we need to and against ya'll we really didnt need to. it was an easy win no threat of losing thats why most of the best players were hardly used it was more like a tune up for us and getting some other guys some work. if you were really a boss you would have came over and made your self known instead of lurking in the shadows, or maybe you just snuck out of there early wit your tail between your legs thinking about the a$$ whoopin coming in oct.
