With a mud riddled field and a heavy midst hovering over the Big Orange Jungle. The 12 Year old Panthers take the field with a point to prove. No one believes they could compete with the Red Devils of Loganville. Even yours truly didn't think the Panthers had enough in the tank to compete with the vaunted Double Wing. The Panthers came out trying a new wrinkle not running the workhorse #31, which didn't really win them much ground but it didn't lose anything but clock. Coach Wolaver and the Red Devils started the assault by driving methodically down field and scoring 6 plus the extra point 2 kicked by #28. On the ensuing kick the Panthers fumbled the ball and the Red Devils took over again. The midst has not picked up to a light drizzle and the field is torn up from all of the previous games. The Panthers stopped the Red Devils on an awesome gaol line stand that was assisted by two huge penalties. Tempers were flaring on both sides of the ball, back to the game, the ball goes to #31 finally and he breaks off a long run to score, but there was laundry on the field, and the long run was called back. The drive was stalled and both teams went back and forth with no one but #31 seeming to have good footing in the game. #98 came up with a huge hit on #31 in a goal line stand by the Red Devils, but the Panthers scored on the very next play. The Panthers could not make the extra point and the score goes down in history 8-6. Good Hard fought game to both teams. Dim lights Download Embed Embed this video on your site
