The Day is Saturday, the air is fresh and the sun is shining bright over in the Land of the Generals. I found a nice place to take cover because the tension is thick. There are a pack of Wolves to my left and Falcons to my right, both are very skilled predators and carnivores indeed. Each looking to devour a pound of flesh to make it to the next round. Now, the high flying Falcons are returning champions and highly favored even by yours truly. The Wolves playing the fitting role of underdogs are ready to make their marks on the scene. The game started with all of the tension that one could muster, fumbles by both teams and both vying to see who will emerge as the alpha male on the field. Then it happened, on a off tackle play #44 in true wolf fashion ducked down behind the O-line make his way from left to right on the field, tapping the qb to let him know that he has found his mark and is ready to go. The ball is snapped, #4 gets the ball and BOOOOM off the right side #44 blasts the Defensive End and #4 scampers for a 7 to 8 yard game. Jumping up immediately after doing his Incredible Hulk interpretation and inviting the Falcons to the feast! The Main Course is Wild Bird!!! Now the Wolves ended the drive prematurely with a fumble, but they clearly felt they were in a position to dictate what the Falcons could do. After stopping the Falcons they went back to the plan giving the Falcons big doses of #4 and the kid got stronger as he ran the ball. The final score was 12 - 0 the champs got shutout, but they had a good run. Congrats to Coach Layson and his boys, on a good season. Coach Burge, way to take the air out of the ball and eat up the 3rd and 4th quarter by controlling the game and the clock. Good Luck Wolves enjoy the win, you guys deserve it and our respect! Mad props!!!
