 Big Brother and team leader Duke Shelley is one of the premier safeties in the MAYFL. This young fella puts in on the line every game. Small in stature but has the heart of a Lion. His job, don't let anything get behind you and punish anything that comes his direction. Jeremiah Shelley starting cornerback and Duke's younger brother locks down one side of the field himself. It is awesome to watch these two ball hawks go aggressively on the field. Dad Pastor Yaquis Shelley has tatooed into the mental of these young fellas that leaders lead from the front. What you get on the game day is what you get in practice. Following in the shoes of their dad who was a standout corner/safety for McNair Sr. High School and heavily recruited by UT, granddad was a baller in his own right and he's not ashamed to tell you that Steve Shelley is the patriarch of dem genes.
